Yavapai Indian Foundation Mission

The Yavapai Indian Foundation, founded in 2008 as a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charity, provides direction, planning, and leadership, as well as funding resources and philanthropic support, to assist the Yavapai Nation and its people.

Our Mission

Our mission is to foster generational sustainability and cultural preservation by providing programs and support to the leaders of tomorrow and the elders of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.

Building the Future

The Fort McDowell Yavapai take great pride in our community. We are proud of our economic development, and the continuing expansion of direct services; services that meet the changing needs of all tribal members, while preserving our traditional values. Our objectives, listed below, are designed to honor our past and build a strong, stable future for the generations to come.  We are funding our objectives through the Heritage Campaign.

Our Objectives

Preservation of Yavapai Heritage & Culture

We will support projects and programs that strengthen our culture, that honor all facets of our heritage, and preserve Yavapai ways for future generations.

Health & Well-Being

We will support activities and programs that promote healthy lifestyles.

Community Education & Training Programs

We will support programs that enhance student academic success, increase employability and promote community sustainability.

Senior Adult Care & Aging-In-Place Support

We will respect our proud tradition of caring for the elders by bringing needed senior services and assistance options to Fort McDowell.

You can read about our objectives in more detail on our Heritage Campaign page, where you can also learn how you can help.
