Welcome to the Election Board
The Election Board (“Board”) is a seven-member committee tasked with organizing and overseeing the election of the Tribal Council. The Board is sworn in to “faithfully perform the duties imposed upon him or her by the Constitution of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation and Tribal Law.”
ATTENTION TRIBAL MEMBERS: The Nation is proposing to republish an updated section of the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Law and Order Code, Chapter 3 – Elections (“Election Ordinance”). The Election Ordinance was last amended in November 1999.
THIRTY (30) DAY COMMUNITY REVIEW AND COMMENT PERIOD: This public notice of the revised Election Ordinance will remain posted for a period of 30 days from June 16, 2021 to July 16, 2021. All tribal members are encouraged to review and comment on the revised Election Ordinance.
