Public Notice ~ Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Law and Order Code Updates

ATTENTION TRIBAL MEMBERS:  The Nation is proposing to republish an updated Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation Law and Order Code (Law and Order Code). December of 2004 was the last time the Law and Order Code was republished. Since that time, the Nation has made a number of amendments (by tribal resolutions) to the Law and Order Code. Therefore, in order to include amendments made to the Law and Order Code from December 2004 to the present, the Code has been updated. If you would like to review a copy of the updated Law and Order Code, please contact the Nation’s Law and Order Committee Secretary, Irma Esquivel, at 789-7677 or stop by the FMYN Prosecutor’s Office in the Public Safety Building. SIXTY (60) DAY COMMUNITY REVIEW AND COMMENT PERIOD:  This public notice of the revised Law and Order Code will remain posted for a period of sixty (60) days from April 14, 2015 to June 15, 2015.  You are encouraged to review and comment on the revised Law and Order Code.  You can submit comments online at the website above or by email, mail or hand-delivery to:
