October 2015 was a busy month for Wassaja Memorial Health Center! Not only did we start giving out flu shots, but there were plenty of activities. October is Breast Health Awareness Month. This year, the clinic’s Yavapai B.E.S.T. (Breast Exam, Screen, Tell Someone) Program promoted awareness and early screening through Proud to Wear Pink Day and a Fun Run.

The clinic also helped support Domestic Violence Awareness on the FMYN DV Program’s Wear Purple Day.

The month finished off with a flurry of Halloween Events including a Pumpkin Carving Contest with the winner determined by patient/ visitor votes! Happy Halloween!
