AWESOME JOB to our Fort McDowell tribal members, community members, and employees for participating in our 100 mile challenge!
In April, participants signed up with Healthy Futures to take the challenge to walk 100 miles in 30 days or less. We had 52 people sign up and 27 people logged miles. The Top Male finisher was Henry Vera (114.2 miles) and Top Female finisher was Tonya Lewis (102 miles). This was no easy task as most participants logged at least 3 – 4 miles each day by running and walking. If you see these awesome people, give them a HIGH FIVE!
