For over a decade, Native Trails has taken audiences on a cultural journey to the First Nations of Arizona and North America through traditional native music, dance and art. Native Trails brings together traditional instruments, colorful dances, and customary attire to share the stories of Southwestern tribes, including the Hopi, Din (Navajo), Akimel Au-Authm and San Carlos Apache. You’ll enjoy dances like the Southwest Horse Dance, inter-tribal pow wow dancing, world championship level hoop dancing and the audience-participation round dance. Native Trails also features American Indian artisans, who will be selling specialty items like jewelry, baskets, flutes and paintings.

Guests are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs or picnic baskets to Civic Center Park and enjoy idyllic weather and exciting performances that will take you on a journey to the first Nations of Arizona and North America. Delicious light snacks and beverages also are available for purchase.
